Dr. Janko Rottmann

Dr. Janko F. Rottman began his career in finance with a rigorous education. He studied finance, banking, entrepreneurship, accounting, and international law. He earned his graduate degrees in economics and finance from the Karl Franzens University in Graz Austria.

After graduation, Dr. Rottmann worked in the EDP and accounting departments of several banks and insurance companies in Austria. He was aided in his work by his extensive language skills in English, German, Italian, Spanish, French, Chinese, Russian and Arabic.

His work took him to the United Arab Emirates where he met representatives of the Royal Investment Consortium, which was then headquartered in Dubai. Dr Rottmann went o Dubai with the goal of hiring him to work for one of his clients. As it turned out, Dr. Rottmann was offered a position with Royal Investment Consortium. He did well in his position and was promoted to president in 1984.
